Welcome to Kashkawan!
"Kashkawan" means "it is foggy" in Algonquin. It's also a fictional village in the Hudson Highlands; most of my stories are set at least partially in Kashkawan.
(Kashkawan is also a kind of cheese. Mmmm, cheese....)
On a clear day, you may be able to see forever, but when it's foggy? That's when the really interesting things become visible.
My name is Luisa Perkins. I write speculative fiction, specifically contemporary dark-ish fantasy. I've been married for nearly 20 years to Patrick, an absolute prince of a man. We live with our six lovely children and an insane cat in a small village on the east bank of the Hudson River. My passions include reading, gardening, knitting, cooking, eating, and musicking.
