I'm feeling meme-ish today. No one has tagged me for one in ages (maybe they aren't in vogue anymore), so I'll make up my own. How about five categories with five entries each? I like it.
Five North American Cities in Which I'd Seriously Consider Living:
- Montreal, Quebec
- St. Louis, Missouri
- Austin, Texas
- Cleveland, Ohio
- Portland, Oregon
Five Songs to Which I Know All the Words:
- Bow Wow Wow's "I Want Candy"
- "Watchful's Song" from the opera Pilgrim's Progress
- "One Week" by the Barenaked Ladies
- Rush's "Red Barchetta"
- "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire
Five Foods I'd Hope to Have in Unlimited Quantities on a Desert Island:
- Bread
- Butter
- Eggs
- Apples
- Chocolate
Five Chores I Should Be Doing Right Now Instead of Blogging:
- Purging my yarn stash
- Cleaning out the raised beds in my vegetable garden
- Sorting through the homeschooling cupboard
- Sewing a button on my green jacket
- Taking inventory of our coat/boot/glove situation
Five Childhood Friends I'd Love to See Again:
- Wendy Hegseth
- Brad O'Dell
- Bobby Cecchini
- Julie Rich
- Peter Engelhard
Now, for the all important tagging. I'll formally tag five of you, but if you want to play, consider yourself tagged whether I mention your name or not. Feel free to adapt or change the categories to your liking. Charrette, LT Eliot, Goofball, Jenna, and Lee Ann: will you play?
*I know: that's an image of five fours, but just go with it.

I like your food list.
But Texas? I couldn't stand the heat and humidity. Portland sounds awesome, though.
I'm sorely tempted. As I recall, my first (and last) meme was one where you tagged me...right before you went into labor with Anne!
Your lists are always fascinating to me.
Five songs to which I know all the words? Does primary count?
Still, I love what you came up with here...
Cities. Childhood friends. Stuff we don't think about every day...
Tempted. Not committing. But tempted. :)
One thing I know for sure:
A city I'd seriously consider living...Cold Spring!
Wonderful meme! And you'd do Austin, but not Ann Arbor? They're supposed to be twin-ish... we have better weather, though! They have better Southwestern food, admittedly. OTOH, Michigan is THE up and coming food state, according to Gourmet. ;-) Okay, I'll stop being pesky...
why those cities???
I'll play but probably not right away!!!!!
Ah Portland...I lived near there for four years and it remains one of my happy places to this day. Especially Powell's Books...sigh...
And your food list is quite similar to mine, and has made me hungry for lunch a full two hours early.
Love Portland.
Love the food list.
Ignoring the chores I should be doing. . .
You are awesome!
No books! Could you narrow it down to five? (I couldn't) (Don't ask) (Seriously, I was hate it!)
Love your meme! The deserted island foods were good foods to pick. Now I want some fresh bread and butter. And a scrambled egg.
Thanks for tagging me! I'll hop on it right away! =] (And next time, you're so tagged.)
CLEVELAND? Why in the crap would you want to live in CLEVELAND?
other than that tragic flaw I think your list is perfect :)
Okay, I played! Great questions! :)
Do you really know all the words to BNL "One Week?" And you best get a move on cleanin out those raised beds, it'll be too cold before ya know it. Oh, and I think I'd like livin in Austin too. Just because Austin City Limits is there.
(I got the chocolate! Thanks a bunch. It's wrapped so shiny and pretty I'm afraid to open it. But I so LOVE chocolate! Thanks again Ms. Luisa!)
I played :)
